What is mental health?

Although there is a strict definition, mental health is basically your attitude and approach to life. Psychological, environmental, genetic or physiological factors have a major impact on the general intellectual development.

What is mental illness?

Mental illness affects their ability to perform routine tasks, foster healthy relationships, or deal with anger or stress. They can be classified based on the extreme mood swings, irrational thought patterns and destructive, and behavioral problems.

How important is mental health?

Your mental health is a huge impact on every aspect of your life.

o Self-image

Good mental health means appreciating your achievements and accept their mistakes. Mental illness can cause an inferiority complex, a negative body image and an intense feeling of self-hatred, anger, disgust, and futility, which could mutate into a huge depression, psychosocial disorders, or disorders food.

o Education

Students with mental problems socially isolate themselves and develop anxiety and difficulty concentrating. Good mental health provides an all-round educational experience that enhances the social and intellectual skills that lead to confidence and better grades.

o Conditions

Mental health largely affected by human activity reports. Mental illness can hamper even the basic interactions with family, friends and colleagues. Most people who suffer from mental illnesses are difficult to cultivate relationships, have problems with commitment and intimacy, and are often faced with problems of sexual health.

Mental disorders are more likely to indulge in binge eating or emotional comfort. Finding comfort in food, we all do from time to time. But mental illness is difficult to control yourself. Overeating can lead to obesity, which puts you at risk for heart disease and diabetes, as well as create an unhealthy body image.

Your mental state directly affects your body. For example, stress can lead to hypertension or stomach ulcers. People who are mentally healthy have a lower risk of complications to your health.

So make a conscious effort to improve and maintain your sanity.
